About our Internships
The Delta Internship Program gives participants practical experiences through which they can develop their skills and interests in teaching and learning, interns work in partnership with a faculty or instructional staff member either on the UW-Madison campus, or in another institutional setting. Interns and partners define a teaching and learning problem, devise, implement, and evaluate a solution, as well as create a product that will be incorporated into their teaching portfolios.
The Internship Program seminar runs concurrent with participant internship experiences. The seminar aims to build an intern learning community within Delta; to provide peer feedback on teaching activities; and to help participants reflect and translate their experiences into their teaching portfolio.
